Microbial or chemical contamination of heating/cooling systems can affect the functioning of the system, but more importantly can pose a risk to human health. Regular monitoring of your heating/cooling systems will help to ensure they are free from microbial and chemical contamination.

Our laboratories offer microbial and chemical analysis as specified throughout the BSRIA guidance for testing closed loop and open water systems.

At Biosearch we can test for heavy metals, disinfectant by products, anions and suspended solids in water which can help you to determine the quality of water in your system which in turn may help to prevent fouling, scaling or corrosion. Microbiological analysis includes TVC, Pseudomonas species, Nitrate Reducing Bacteria and Sulphate Reducing Bacteria as well as legionella testing.
