11/5/2015 Lap of the Lough Charity Cycle 2015
Our Business Manager Jeremy Trimble will be donning Lycra for the 85-mile Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle race in August 2015. He’ll be part of a team representing the W&R Barnett group of companies, who are cycling to raise funds for charity in memory of David Hickey, Commercial Director of R&H Hall who sadly passed away in September of last year. Some of our Barnett-Hall colleagues in the Republic of Ireland will also be taking part in the Ring of Kerry Cycle in July 2015.
27/4/2015 Biosearch microbiologist joins the fight against Ebola
One of our water microbiologists, Chris Wooster, has volunteered to use his laboratory skills to analyse samples for the Ebola virus in Sierra Leone, working with the Public Health England analytical team. We all wish Chris a safe journey and look forward to his safe return in June!

17/6/2014 Marie Curie Big Tea Party
Biosearch has staged a “Blooming Great Tea Party” in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. As well as being a welcome opportunity for colleagues throughout the W&R Barnett group to leave the comfort of their desks and tour our laboratories (some for the very first time!) there was a chance to grab a cuppa, a ‘wee bun’ and a catch up. Thanks to the generosity of all our visitors we donated £100 to this very worthwhile cause.
