Jeremy joined Biosearch in 2010, to explore the commercial potential of environmental analytical services. Jeremy had previous experience in distributor/export management and holds a degree in Biochemistry. He has successfully delivered his remit, having developed the company into Irelands leading contract testing laboratory. The current portfolio of services now supports health, water utility and food/feed producing industries throughout Ireland, with compliance and specialist precision testing.
Deby joined the company 17 years ago, after obtaining two years' experience at one of Northern Ireland’s leading food producers, starting as a Laboratory Technician at Biosearch and progressing to her current role as QM. Deby is responsible for ensuring technical operations meet UKAS, DWTS, M&S & Tesco standards for both food and water laboratories; maintaining the management system and equipment records; approval of suppliers of laboratory consumables and equipment; conducting and managing internal audits and assisting with external audits; methodology reviews, existing and new; non-conformance reviews; calculating and applying uncertainty of measurement to test method and liaising with customers.
Deby is a Chartered Scientist and holds a BSc (Hons) Applied Biochemical Sciences with Diploma in Industrial Studies in addition to a Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management (ILM). She is a Member of the Royal Society of Biology and the Society of Applied Microbiology.
